Case Closed: Episode 29 English Dubbed Episode Description: Conan identifies two things strange facts about Jamie's body; the finger was not on the trigger and she was naked under her robe. Conan, after hearing about the legendary Benkei, realizes who the murderer is and plans to tranquilize Richard in order to solve the case. Conan instead decides to drop subtle hints and let him do it himself. Richard gets to the bottom of the situation, identifying Jamie’s killer as police detective Craig Newberry, further explaining how Jamie died later than originally estimated, exercise from table tennis caused her body to undergo rigor mortis much earlier. He changed Jamie’s clothes and wiped the sweat from her body so authorities wouldn’t question her activities prior to death, and it was a statement that Craig made suggesting he knew Jamie was already dead before the others that seals his fate. Craig confesses that he has dated Jamie for 18 years and he proposed to her multiple times but was always turned down. Jamie terrorized Craig and a woman he became engaged to later on. When the Judo members question Craig on his actions, he attacks them but is slammed down by Richard, who leaves him for the police to arrive.
