Case Closed: Episode 27 English Dubbed Episode Description: Conan is coming back from a restaurant with Rachel and Richard when they hear a man scream from a nearby house. Once inside, they learn from Sarah Shugman that Ted Groven has been killed in an unprovoked attack by a dog named Jack. Charles Peterson, Jack's owner, falls under suspicion as it is believed he trained him to murder. It is revealed that Ted was a bully and Micheal, Charles’s son, committed suicide several years ago as a result of it. Inspector Meguire informs everyone that Jack is endangered of being put to sleep. Sarah explains that Charles called a little bit before 9:00 to talk to Jack and Ted put the phone to his ear. Conan drops hints for Richard, allowing him to solve the crime. Richard concludes that Jack was trained to kill when he hears nine chimes from a Longcase clock and Charles's voice. Charles confesses that he had forgiven Ted for Micheal's death at the funeral, however, several years later, Ted resorted to being a heartless bully again and Charles devised a plan to murder him. Jack is spared and placed with one of Charles’s relatives in the country.
