Through the detective badge, Conan overheard the kidnappers saying they would clean up on diamonds and the group assumed they were jewel thieves. Conan figures out where the kidnappers are headed and rescues Genta. It turns out the kidnappers are part of an organisation that smuggles protected whitebait eels to overseas illegally.
