He meets an Alter user named Ayase Terasada whose younger brother and other natives were taken by HOLY's Tatsunami. During the night, both Kazuma and Ayase work together to take down the guards while Kimishima frees the natives, however Tatsunami takes Ayase hostage. While Kimishima gives up, Kazuma is unwilling to give up and prepares to attack him. Seeing this, Kimishima attacks Tatsunami while Kazuma finishes him. Satisfied with the job, Kazuma goes back to the farm to conclude his work with Kanami.
