However, they are defeated by Kazuma and Ryuho. Later, Ryuho finds Mimori and tells her to return to a safe area. Mimori confesses her love to Ryuho but he feels conflicted due to Scheris' death and leaves. In a farm, Kazuma visits Kanami briefly but she realizes he is going to have a serious fight by reading his mind. Kanami confesses her love to Kazuma who tells her he will return. Kazuma and Ryuho then reunite to face the Mainlands' forces. Three months later, as the Mainlands appear to have withdrawn, Kazuma and Ryuho resolve their rivalry with one final fight.
