Kurima decides to confront the Chinatown gang directly, believing that even if it results in his death, it would be punishment for his involvement in Hirata and Yui's deaths. Knowing that Kurima's death would cause a scandal and expose them, the Revengers decide to keep an eye on Kurima. Kurima confronts the leader of the Chinatowng gang, Master Liu, but is captured and interrogated. The Revengers raid Master Liu's boat and rescue Kurima, and he tells them that he has learned from his interrogators that they are searching for a massive stash of opium Matsumine had hidden in Nagasaki before his death.
