Travelling to Sinnoh to return it, they learn that Piplup ran away because of its jealousy about Lauren's Croagunk, who's competing with Piplup for her attention. The two Pokemon decide to settle their quarrel by competing in the Pokemon Iceberg Race, which Ash and Goh decide to enter as well, while Team Rocket plans to sabotage the race by capturing all the Pokemon that have entered.
