Spear harvests as much meat from the mammoth as he can, using one of its tusks to pull a makeshift sled. When the dead mammoth's herd comes across their desecrated elder, which is already being scavenged by sabertoothed canids, they follow the sled's tracks and attack Spear and Fang.
