Celebrating his new found freedom, Gessho attempts to begin life anew, but is quickly interupted by Suusu seeking his help in finding a special book called the Book of Reincarnation. However, when youkai attack Gessho's new school, Gessho and Suusu learn they are not the only ones seeking the book.
