They use the fastest route to return. Oshtor guesses that Raiko and Tokifusa are working together and that they know where the hidden village is and will likely prepare traps on their way. Tokifusa receives news that Oshtor's group is moving as predicted and that they don't have troops with them. Oshtor's group get attacked and Oshtor orders to go ignore it and run. They see the river had dried and Oshtor states that's good for them and then the group starts crossing it.
