Since the Plant Quetta incident, Guel has been a Dawn of Fold prisoner. With the Benerit Group cracking down on them, the organization abandons its base and evacuates the refugees they are protecting. At Asticassia, Nika and Sarius have become prisoners of Grassley House, with Norea being angered by the former's treason while Shaddiq reveals to the latter that he intends to sell the Benerit Group's assets to Earth and remove the power imbalance between Earthians and Spacians. On Earth, Dawn of Fold's leader, Naji, handles the evacuation while his lieutenant Olcott, a former Cathedra soldier who switched sides after losing his son, barely holds off their pursuers, losing his entire squad in the process. Meanwhile, Guel escapes and tries to save a child who was caught in the crossfire, only for her to die in his arms. Afterward, with Olcott letting him go, Guel resolves to return to space and save his father's company. Elsewhere, Miorine asks Delling's aide, Rajan Zahi, about Quiet Zero and he reveals that it was actually her mother who originally came up with the concept, but he also cautions her about following in her father's footsteps.
