Elias tells Chise they must absorb the dragon’s magic. They land on the dragon as it escapes the building. Elias is blasted by dragon fire and falls off. Chise drains the dragon’s magic alone, causing them to crash into the river. Chise awakens at home under the care of Shannon. Chise’s left arm has mutated and is being restrained by magical bandages. Lindel explains that Chise absorbed a dragon curse and her body will fall apart after spreading. Shannon has Chise to stay in the kingdom, hoping a fairy might help her...
