At night, Kash shows Darius an upgraded model of B.R.A.D. known as B.R.A.D.-X. The following day, Darius is tasked with planting a control chip on the Spinosaurus. Kash orders a B.R.A.D.-X to kill Darius if he fails to do so. Meanwhile, the rest of the group finds a warehouse where B.R.A.D.-Xs are being powered on by other B.R.A.D.s.
