With their base ingredients obtained, Senku and the others begin producing the other elements for the antibiotic. Needing alcohol for the remaining elements, Senku ends up joining the others in the Grand Bout, which offers alcohol for the winner. Upon arriving in the village for the Grand Bout, Senku is greeted by Ruri, who appears to know his name from somewhere. Magma's henchman, Mantle, kidnaps Suika, ties her to a tree and tells Kohaku that Suika is drowning, prompting Kohaku to run off even while knowing he's lying...
