Conan, George Kojima, Mitsuhiko, and Ayumi get off at Kuronosu Station, where the village-run insect human ranch is located. At that time, an eerie cry is heard. It was in the woods with a no-go sign that made a noise. In the forest, villagers were working on excavators and bulldozers. The eerie cry was the sound of work. Conan and his friends are glared at by the villagers and run away in a hurry. Conan and his friends return to the station and encounter a human beetle in front of the cafeteria.
